| That went well K9 Weight Pull Sunday, Nov. 27, 2011 A One Day, IWPA Sanctioned, All Breed, Wheeled Event Held on the infield of the Port Clinton Ball Field Novice entries: 7:30am to 8:30a Novice start time: 8:30am Pro-Entries: 9 am to 10:00 am Pro-Weigh In: 9 am to 10 am Pro-Handler’s Meeting: 10:30am Pro-Pull Start Time: immediately following the handler's meeting Entry Fee: Pro: $15 per dog. You need not be a member of the IWPA to compete. You can join the IWPA the day of the pull. Novice: $8/dog…a limited amount of harnesses will be available for novice dogs to use. No Experience is necessary. **Novice dogs will be allowed to compete in the Pro classes** **Please make sure to have your dogs’ current Rabies certificate.** Prizes: Prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers in each class, including novice. And an overall MWP and BBP award for the Pro class. Go about 2 miles. Make the first left into Port Clinton (Broad St). Cross over small bridge and railroad tracks, take a left onto Pine St. The ballfeild is on the left. Note: All IWPA rules apply. This is an all breed event…mixed breeds are welcome too. All dogs must be under physical control at all times, and on a 6ft leash or smaller…no flexi’s No human aggressive dogs or dog aggressive humans are allowed!!! You will be told to leave!!! Come prepared to clean up after your dogs. Anyone not cleaning up after their dogs will be told to leave. No drugs or alcohol allowed. Spectators are welcome. This is a rain or shine event.
